Small, brilliant dove, 23–27 cm; male has iridescent emerald-green back and wings, grey crown, white forehead streak, and pinkish-brown breast. Widespread in forest, bamboo, and dense woodland from South Asia through Southeast Asia to China and the Andamans. Granivore and frugivore on the forest floor. Least Concern.
