The Banggai Golden Bulbul is a medium-sized bulbul of the family Pycnonotidae found on the Banggai Islands of Indonesia. Weighing about 40g with a wingspan of 21.4cm, it has distinctive golden-yellow plumage. It inhabits forest and forest edges on its restricted island range, feeding on fruit and insects.

The Aceh Bulbul is an endangered bulbul weighing around 30g endemic to the Aceh region of northern Sumatra. It is threatened by rapid deforestation and ranks among the rarer bulbuls in Southeast Asia.
