La paloma terrestre de las Bismarck es una gran paloma terrestre de 30-33 cm similar a la paloma bronceada de Nueva Guinea, pero con la cabeza blanca y sin la frente blanca. Terrestrial forager of seeds and small fruits. Endangered due to hunting and deforestation; population fewer than 1,000.
