El titirijí del Acre es un mosquero-todi casi amenazado de los bosques amazónicos de Brasil y Perú. Pesa apenas 9 gramos. Tiene partes superiores oliva-verdes y partes inferiores amarillentas. Habita en el interior de bosques tropicales húmedos de tierras bajas. Es uno de los varios mosqueros-todi de pequeño tamaño del género Hemitriccus. Se alimenta de pequeños insectos capturados en el sotobosque. Especie descubierta y descrita recientemente.
Black-fronted Tyrannulet
The Black-fronted Tyrannulet is a tiny, active flycatcher with olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, a pale eye ring, and a conspicuous black forehead patch. It inhabits humid montane forests and forest edges from Venezuela and Colombia south through Ecuador and Peru to Bolivia, typically in the Andean foothills and cloud forest zone. It gleans insects from foliage and twigs high in the forest canopy, often in mixed-species flocks.
