Tourmaline Sunangel
El solángel de gorguera tornasol es un colibrí pequeño de los bosques nublados andinos de Colombia y Ecuador. El macho presenta partes superiores verde brillante y un gorjal tornasol iridiscente vistoso. Se alimenta del néctar de flores en el bosque nublado. La hembra es más apagada con partes inferiores moteadas. Contribuye a la polinización de muchas plantas de los Andes colombianos y ecuatorianos.
Lyre-tailed Hummingbird
A small hummingbird (10-11 cm) endemic to Jamaica. Males have a deeply forked, lyre-shaped tail. Green plumage. Nectarivore of forest and garden flowers. Recently split from Bahama Woodstar. A Jamaican near-endemic.
