Águila Arpía

El águila arpía es el águila más grande y poderosa de América, con una envergadura de hasta 200 cm y garras del tamaño de las de un oso. Tiene plumaje gris en las partes superiores, blanco en las inferiores y una llamativa cresta gris. Habita en bosques tropicales de México a Brasil y Bolivia. Caza mamíferos medianos como monos y perezosos, y grandes lagartos. Clasificada como vulnerable debido a la pérdida del bosque tropical y la caza.
