The Abyssinian Citril is a small finch weighing around 14g found in the highlands of Ethiopia and Eritrea. It frequents forest edges and scrubby hillsides, feeding on seeds and insects.
Akohekohe
The Akohekohe, or Crested Honeycreeper, is a critically endangered Hawaiian bird weighing about 27 g with a wingspan near 18 cm. Endemic to the windward slopes of Haleakala on Maui, it is recognised by its spectacular white-tufted crest and striking orange nape, feeding primarily on nectar from native flowers.
