Tortolita del Ecuador (Columbina buckleyi) — Pequeña paloma terrestre del occidente de Ecuador y el noroeste del Perú. Habita en matorrales áridos, bordes de bosque y tierras agrícolas. Sexualmente dimorfa: el macho tiene cabeza gris y la hembra es más apagada.
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
