Paloma plateada (Columba vitiensis) — Paloma grande y robusta del Pacífico, distribuida desde Célebes hasta Fiyi y Samoa. Plumaje gris plateado con cabeza blanquecina. Habita en bosques insulares tropicales; sus poblaciones varían según la isla.
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
