Paloma torcaz (Columba palumbus) — La paloma más grande de Europa, de hasta 45 cm. Inconfundible por las manchas blancas en el cuello y las alas. Común en bosques, parques y campos agrícolas desde Europa hasta Asia central. Parcialmente migratoria; forma enormes bandadas en invierno.
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
