A medium-sized hummingbird (13-14 cm) found in Andean cloud forests from Venezuela to Colombia at 1,800-3,200 m. Males have a golden-yellow belly and iridescent green forehead. Nectarivore of montane forest and forest edges.
Little Sunangel
El solángel de pecho pequeño es un colibrí pequeño de los bosques nublados andinos del sur de Ecuador y el norte de Perú. El macho tiene partes superiores verde brillante y un gorjal iridiscente. Se alimenta del néctar de flores en los bosques nublados andinos. La hembra es más apagada.
