Fumarel común (Chlidonias niger), 22–26 cm. En cría: plumaje negro con alas y cola grises; pico negro; patas oscuras. Fuera de cría, gris y blanco. Cría en Europa y Norteamérica; inverna en África y América del Sur. Captura insectos sobre el agua. Nidifica en vegetación flotante.
