Chorlitejo de Madagascar (Charadrius thoracicus), 14–15 cm. Collar pectoral negro; frente blanca; dorso pardo; superciliar blanca. Endémico de Madagascar. Habita en playas y estuarios. Distribución restringida. Se alimenta de pequeños invertebrados. Vulnerable por pérdida de hábitat costero.
