Cucú bronceado chico (Chalcites minutillus), 13–15 cm. El cucú bronceado más pequeño; partes superiores bronce-verdosas brillantes; vientre blanco con barras. Habita en el norte de Australia, Nueva Guinea e islas cercanas. Parásito de nidos de tejedor y malúridos. Se alimenta de orugas e insectos.
Koel asiático, 42-46 cm. Macho negro brillante con ojos rojos; hembra parda moteada. Ampliamente distribuido en Asia del Sur y Sudeste Asiático. Parásito de nido. Canto muy reconocible. Preocupación menor.
