Cucú bronceado brillante (Chalcites lucidus), 15–18 cm. Plumaje verde bronce metálico por encima; blanco con barras verde-pardas por debajo. Gran migrador: cría en Nueva Zelanda y Australia e inverna en las islas del Pacífico occidental. Parásito de nidos, especialmente de currucas australianas.
Koel asiático, 42-46 cm. Macho negro brillante con ojos rojos; hembra parda moteada. Ampliamente distribuido en Asia del Sur y Sudeste Asiático. Parásito de nido. Canto muy reconocible. Preocupación menor.
