Colibrí estrellado heliodoro (Chaetocercus heliodor), 6–7 cm. Macho con garganta verde-amarillenta iridiscente; corona verde; partes inferiores blancas. Habita en bordes de bosque y jardines de los Andes de Venezuela, Colombia y Ecuador. Se alimenta de néctar. Macho exhibe vuelos acrobáticos en el cortejo.
