Cucal de cara negra (Centropus melanops), 38–44 cm. Máscara facial negra contrastante con el plumaje pardo-rojizo del cuerpo. Cola larga y oscura. Endémico de Filipinas. Habita en bosques secundarios y bordes de selva. Se alimenta de insectos, lagartijas y bayas.
