Cucal de Sri Lanka (Centropus chlororhynchos), 43–46 cm. Plumaje negro con brillo verde, alas y dorso castaño oscuro, pico verdoso. Endémico de Sri Lanka, donde habita en bosques húmedos. Especie amenazada debido a la deforestación. Se alimenta de insectos y pequeños vertebrados.
African Emerald Cuckoo (Chrysococcyx cupreus) — 20–22 cm. Male: dazzling emerald green above and on breast; yellow belly; red bill. Female: bronze-green above; rufous-barred below.
