Cucal verde de Filipinas (Centropus viridis), 34–40 cm. Plumaje negro con brillo verde metálico, alas castaño-oliváceas. Endémico de Filipinas. Habita en bordes de bosque, matorrales y zonas cultivadas. Se alimenta de insectos, lagartos y frutos. Voz fuerte y característica.
