White-breasted Waterhen
White-breasted Waterhen (Amaurornis phoenicurus) is a bold 28–33 cm rail of South and South-East Asia. Slaty-black above; white face and breast; chestnut vent; red base to yellow bill. Common across India, South-East Asia, and China in marshes, rice paddies, ditches, and waterways. Often forages in open, even in towns.
Bare-eyed Rail
El rascón vientre plomizo es un rascón de los bosques de las islas de Indonesia y Papúa Nueva Guinea. Tiene plumaje marrón en las partes superiores y gris plomizo en las inferiores. Habita en bosques primarios y secundarios húmedos. Como la mayoría de los rascones, es tímido y nocturno, detectado principalmente por sus llamadas.
