Ryukyu Green-pigeon (Treron permagnus), 34 cm. Larger than White-bellied Green-pigeon; endemic to the Ryukyu Islands (Japan). Green with a yellowish head and white belly. Inhabits subtropical broadleaf forests; highly dependent on Ficus. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to small island range and ongoing habitat degradation.
