Acerca de
El milano negro (unos 800 g) es uno de los rapaces más abundantes del mundo, aunque ha disminuido en algunas regiones. A diferencia de su pariente el milano real, tiene la cola casi recta. Muy oportunista, se alimenta de carroña, basura, peces muertos y presas vivas pequeñas. Enormes concentraciones se forman en vertederos y alrededor de los mercados de pescado de África. Migra al África subsahariana en invierno. Es muy hábil y acrobático en vuelo.
