Acerca de
El colibrí brillante de frente dorada es un colibrí de Venezuela y el norte de Brasil. El macho tiene la frente amarillo-dorada brillante y el resto del plumaje verde. Habita en bosques húmedos de tierras bajas, tepuyes y sus estribaciones en la Guayana. Se alimenta de néctar de flores de plantas del sotobosque y dosel. Especie endémica de la región de la Guayana con distribución restringida al norte de América del Sur.

Nectarivore visiting Ericaceae, Fuchsia, and other montane flowers in Andean cloud forest. Takes small insects and spiders for protein.
