Acerca de
El calzadito de Aurélie es un colibrí de Colombia, Ecuador, Panamá y Venezuela. Tiene plumaje verde brillante con patas emplumadas con penachos blancos o buff. Habita en bordes de bosque montano y matorrales de las laderas andinas. Se alimenta de néctar de flores de plantas epífitas y arbustivas. Como otros calzaditos, tiene patas relativamente largas con plumas características. Su voz es una serie de chips agudos.

Nectarivore of Andean cloud forest; visits Ericaceae and epiphyte flowers in wet mossy habitats. Catches small arthropods.
