El tordino de Annam es un tordino de la familia Pellorneidae restringido a los bosques del centro de Vietnam y Laos (la región de Annam). Tiene plumaje marrón con rayas en las partes inferiores. Habita en el sotobosque de bosques perennifolios húmedos. Como la mayoría de los tordinos, es tímido y difícil de observar directamente. Se detecta principalmente por sus llamadas. Especie con distribución muy restringida y vulnerable a la deforestación.
