Barking Imperial-pigeon (Ducula latrans), 44 cm. Named for its deep, dog-like call. Dark metallic green upperparts; pale grey-brown underparts. Endemic to Fiji. Inhabits primary and secondary forest from sea level to 1,200 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; locally common in Fiji.
