Paloma trocaz (Columba trocaz) — Paloma grande endémica de Madeira, con cerca de 40 cm de longitud. Plumaje gris con manchas plateadas en el cuello. Habita en los laurisilvas relictos de la isla. Actualmente en recuperación tras ser cazada casi hasta la extinción.
