Colibrí de vientre blanco (Chlorestes candida), 8–9 cm. Partes superiores verde brillante; garganta verde o azulada; vientre blanco. Habita en selvas húmedas y bordes de bosque de América Central y el noroeste de América del Sur. Se alimenta de néctar de flores de sotobosque. Visita frecuentemente trampas de néctar.
