Chorlitejo de las Malvinas (Charadrius falklandicus), 16–18 cm. Dos bandas pectorales: negra arriba y castaña abajo; frente blanca; dorso pardo. Habita en playas y pastizales costeros de Argentina, Chile e islas Malvinas. Migratorio austral. Se alimenta de invertebrados en playas y orillas.
