Alondra trepadora de pico corto (Certhilauda brevirostris), 17–18 cm. Parecida a otras alondras trepadores pero con pico notablemente más corto y robusto. Plumaje pardo-rojizo estriado. Endémica de Sudáfrica (Karoo central). Habita en llanuras áridas. Se alimenta de insectos y pequeñas semillas.
