Acerca de

Mérgulo colombino (Cepphus columba), 32–36 cm. Plumaje nupcial negro con grandes manchas blancas en las alas; patas y boca interiormente rojas. En invierno, partes inferiores blancas. Habita en costas rocosas del norte del Pacífico. Se alimenta de peces, crustáceos e invertebrados buceando.
