Cucal Goliat (Centropus goliath), 62–68 cm. El cucal más grande; plumaje negro con brillo azul-verdoso, alas y dorso castaño oscuro. Pico muy robusto, cola larga. Endémico de las Molucas del Norte (Indonesia). Habita en bosques primarios densos. Se alimenta de grandes insectos, reptiles y pequeños mamíferos.
