How to Tell Them Apart
Steinadler
Dark brown overall with a golden-bronze sheen on the nape and crown. Juveniles show distinct white patches at the base of the tail and in the wings.

Der Steinadler zählt zu den kraftvollsten und wendigsten Greifvögeln der nördlichen Hemisphäre. Bei der Jagd können Steinadler im Sturzflug Geschwindigkeiten von über 240 km/h erreichen.
Haussperling
Der Haussperling ist vermutlich der weltweit erfolgreichste Vogel im Zusammenleben mit dem Menschen. 1851 in New York eingeführt, verbreitete er sich innerhalb weniger Jahrzehnte über ganz Nordamerika. Trotz seiner weltweiten Häufigkeit sind die Bestände des Haussperlings in Teilen Westeuropas deutlich zurückgegangen.
