Die Hirtenmaina wurde von der IUCN zu einer der 100 schlimmsten invasiven Arten der Welt erklärt. Mandschurenstorch
Der Mandschurenstorch ist eine der am stärksten gefährdeten Storchenarten; in freier Wildbahn leben noch weniger als 3.000 Individuen. Einst war er in ganz Ostasien weit verbreitet, ging jedoch durch die Trockenlegung von Feuchtgebieten und den Einsatz von Pestiziden dramatisch zurück.
