Männchen können lernen, menschliche Sprache nachzuahmen; ein Rekordhalter beherrschte einen Wortschatz von 1.728 Wörtern.

Der Wilson-Paradiesvogel gehört zu den außergewöhnlichsten gefärbten Vögeln der Erde. Männchen räumen sorgfältig eine Fläche des Waldbodens als Balzplatz frei und entfernen dabei jedes Blatt und jeden Zweig.
