The Agami Heron is a near-threatened, strikingly patterned wading bird with a wingspan of about 55 cm and a weight of around 528 g. It inhabits shaded forest streams and swampy areas in Central and South America, where it stands motionless before striking with its exceptionally long, sharp bill.
Bare-throated Tiger-heron
The Bare-throated Tiger-heron is a large heron of the family Ardeidae found in mangroves, rivers, and wetlands from Mexico through Central America to Colombia.
