Agami Heron
The Agami Heron is a near-threatened, strikingly patterned wading bird with a wingspan of about 55 cm and a weight of around 528 g. It inhabits shaded forest streams and swampy areas in Central and South America, where it stands motionless before striking with its exceptionally long, sharp bill.
Black Heron
The Black Heron is a medium-sized, all-black heron famous for its unique canopy-feeding technique, in which it spreads its wings like an umbrella over the water to create shade and attract fish.
