Black-faced Canary

The Black-faced Canary is a small, bright finch with vivid green and yellow plumage and a distinctive black face and throat patch on the male. It inhabits open woodland, forest edges, and gardens of central Africa, from the Democratic Republic of Congo through Uganda and Kenya. It feeds primarily on small seeds and berries, often gathering in flocks that move through the canopy.
