Austral Negrito
The Austral Negrito is a small ground-dwelling flycatcher found in open habitats and shorelines in southern South America. Weighing about 13g with a wingspan of 14.5cm, the male has striking black and chestnut plumage while the female is brown. It feeds on insects caught on the ground or in short aerial sallies along stream banks.
