Pelagic across Indian Ocean. Threatened by longline fishing, disease, and the tiny, isolated population size.
Chatham Albatross
Chatham Albatross, 90 cm, wingspan 220 cm, is Vulnerable and breeds only on The Pyramid, a single rocky stack in the Chatham Islands. Yellow bill with dark tip, grey head. Very restricted breeding range; pelagic across the South Pacific. Threatened by longline bycatch and the vulnerability of one tiny colony.
