Sri Lanka Woodpigeon (Columba torringtoniae) — 35–38 cm. Dark purplish-brown; grey head; chequered black-and-white neck patch; purplish underparts. Endemic to Sri Lanka in montane forest at 900–2,200 m. Frugivore. Vulnerable; restricted to the island's central hill forests.
