大石鸡（Alectoris magna），体重约553克，分布于甘肃走廊地区的干旱半干旱岩石地带和黄土沟壑。属雉科（Phasianidae），是中国西北特有种，种群数量较少。

白颊山鹧鸪是分布于中国西南部、缅甸北部和东北印度的山鹧鸪，栖息于海拔1000至2500米的热带常绿阔叶林和竹林。雄鸟黑色喉部对比白色脸颊，体羽棕褐色；雌鸟相似。在密林地面觅食种子、浆果和无脊椎动物，较为隐秘，以鸣声提示存在。
