Spotted Greenshank: 29–32 cm, large shank with spotted flanks in breeding plumage, slightly upturned bill, and greenish-yellow legs. Breeds in boreal forest wetlands of Sakhalin and Kamchatka; winters on tropical estuaries and mudflats of Southeast Asia. EN. Extremely rare; total population probably under 1,000 birds. Threatened by habitat loss.
