A medium-sized go-away-bird (48-51 cm) widespread in southern and East African savanna and woodland. Entirely grey plumage with a tall crest. Named for its loud, nasal go-away call. Frugivore of woodland and garden trees. One of Africa's most familiar birds in suburban areas.
