White-tufted Grebe
White-tufted Grebe (Rollandia rolland) is a small 22–27 cm grebe of southern South America, from Peru and Bolivia south to Tierra del Fuego. Dark brown with distinctive white facial tufts extending from cheeks; chestnut neck sides. Inhabits freshwater lakes, bogs, and slow rivers. Partially migratory; nomadic in austral winter.

Inhabits small freshwater ponds, ditches, and marshes from the southern USA through Central and South America to northern Argentina. Feeds on small fish and aquatic invertebrates.
