Ashy-throated Parrotbill
The Ashy-throated Parrotbill is a small passerine found in bamboo and shrubby habitats in the mountains of southwestern China and adjacent Southeast Asia. Weighing under 9g, it has a distinctive pale grey throat and the stubby, deep bill characteristic of parrotbills. It forages in small flocks, extracting seeds and insects from bamboo stems.
