About These Birds
Black-naped Oriole
The Black-naped Oriole is a medium-sized, bright yellow oriole with a broad black stripe running through the eye and across the nape, and black wing and tail markings. It is widespread across East and Southeast Asia, inhabiting open forest, plantations, parks, and gardens from India to Indonesia and the Philippines. It feeds on insects, fruits, and nectar, often foraging high in the canopy.
