Large ground dove, 30–35 cm, with brown and grey plumage, a white forehead, and three dark spots on the white breast suggesting a 'triple wound.' Endemic to Sulawesi and adjacent Togian and Banggai Islands. Inhabits lowland and hill forest floor. Granivore and frugivore. Vulnerable due to deforestation.
