Green Imperial-pigeon (Ducula aenea), 45 cm. Metallic green upperparts; grey head and pale pink-grey underparts. Widespread from India and Sri Lanka through Southeast Asia to the Philippines. Inhabits lowland and foothill forest. Frugivore. Least Concern; adaptable to secondary forest.

Pohnpei Fruit-dove

Pohnpei Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus ponapensis), 22 cm. Green with a lilac head and an orange-yellow breast; endemic to Pohnpei, Micronesia. Occupies primary forest above 200 m on this volcanic island. Frugivore. Vulnerable; total range barely exceeds 100 km².
