White-headed Pigeon (Columba leucomela) — 38–41 cm. Striking black-and-white; white head and breast contrast with black back and wings; red bill. Inhabits rainforest and forest edge along the east coast of Australia. Frugivore; feeds on forest fruits. Locally common; associated with camphor laurel fruits.
